KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — Pakatan Harapan communications director Fahmi Fadzil has called on campaigners to focus on development and the welfare of the people.
Ahead of the Johor state election, describing the polls as a platform to determine the state’s future direction.
Fahmi said the message was emphasised during the launch of PH’s election machinery in Batu Pahat, attended by more than 5,000 supporters.
He noted that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stressed that elections should not distract from serving the people.
While party leaders highlighted the importance of political stability and cooperation between the federal and state governments.
Fahmi said Johor’s vast development potential must benefit the majority of its people.
