KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — The future of cooperation between PAS and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is expected to be discussed at a PAS Central Working Committee meeting tonight.
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang confirmed the meeting amid growing speculation over tensions within the Perikatan Nasional coalition.
The dispute reportedly involves disagreements over leadership matters, state-level appointments and the coalition’s future direction.
Hadi previously indicated that PAS would reassess its relationship with Bersatu, saying the party’s patience has limits. The meeting is expected to determine PAS’s next steps regarding the alliance.
