CUPERTINO, June 9 — Apple has announced a series of performance enhancements across its software platforms, aimed at improving responsiveness, file transfers and overall user experience.
The company said app launches on iPhone and iPad are now up to 30 per cent faster, while newly captured photos can appear in iCloud Photos up to 70 per cent quicker.
AirDrop transfers have been accelerated by up to 80 per cent, and file transfers through the Files app are up to 50 per cent faster.
Apple also introduced a new CPU scheduler designed to prioritise tasks more efficiently, alongside improved network management.
That enables smoother transitions between Wi-Fi and cellular connections across supported devices.
