GEORGE TOWN, June 9 — Motorists using Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah are advised to expect intermittent night-time lane closures from June 7 to July 31 as part of preliminary works for the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project.
The closures will take place daily from 9pm to 5am and will affect the leftmost lanes in both directions between Perodua and the Koperasi Shop Lots & Flat.
Heading towards Bayan Lepas, and between Pensonic and the Post Office heading towards Komtar. The temporary traffic management measures are required.
For utility excavation and relocation works involving PBA. Remaining lanes will stay open, while traffic personnel, safety barriers and directional signage will be deployed throughout the works period.
