KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 — Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi has reiterated that Democratic Action Party (DAP) will not be part of any future Barisan Nasional-led Johor government.
Stressing that the state’s political landscape differs from the federal level. Onn Hafiz said his position was based on principle, mandate and responsibility to Bangsa Johor rather than race or arrogance.
He noted that BN’s cooperation with Pakatan Harapan at the federal level arose from post-GE15 circumstances when no coalition secured a majority.
While Johor BN received a clear mandate from voters to govern independently. He added that Johor’s stable administration should continue.
Without political arrangements that could affect the state’s governance and development agenda.
