JOHOR BAHRU, June 11 — Johor PAS will maintain friendly relations with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) at the state level despite the party’s decision to officially end political cooperation nationwide.
Johor PAS commissioner Mahfodz Mohamed said ties between leaders and members of both parties remain strong and will continue without prejudice.
He added that Johor PAS will contest the upcoming state election through an electoral pact with several Malay-Muslim parties.
Including Parti Pejuang Tanah Air and Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia. Seat negotiations are ongoing, while PAS acknowledged it may face Bersatu in some constituencies during the Johor polls.
