GEORGE TOWN, June 10 — Investigations have found that metal cutting work using oxy-acetylene equipment caused the fire that destroyed an entertainment centre.

Workers carrying out metal cutting when molten metal residue fell onto combustible materials and ignited the blaze.
The fire originated at the rear of the building’s ground floor, while forensic investigators found no traces of accelerants.
The victim, Mohamad Boshi Sabi Ullah, 56, died from smoke inhalation. Police have classified the case as a sudden death report with no evidence of foul play.
