KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 — A group of 13 Members of Parliament aligned with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia(Bersatu) have called for the party to leave, or be removed from Perikatan Nasional.
Following PAS’ decision to end its political cooperation with Bersatu. In a joint statement, the MPs criticised Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin and secretary-general Azmin Ali.
Accusing the party leadership of ignoring internal concerns and damaging relations within the coalition. The lawmakers claimed Bersatu’s weakening position.
And leadership issues could further undermine PN, and urged a review of Bersatu-linked political appointments and state executive positions in relevant states.
