PUTRAJAYA, June 12 — The Election Commission has announced that the Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections will be held on different dates.
Following the dissolution of their respective state assemblies. For Johor, nomination day is set for June 27, early voting on July 7 and polling on July 11.
In Negeri Sembilan, nomination day will be held on July 18, followed by early voting on July 28 and polling on August 1. EC chairman Ramlan Harun said the election timetable was approved.
During a special commission meeting in Putrajaya, paving the way for campaigning and candidate nominations in both states.
