MELBOURNE, June 12 — Malaysian fashion label Farah Khan has been selected to participate in the 2026 NGV Triennial at the National Gallery of Victoria.
One of the world’s largest contemporary art and design exhibitions. As part of the exhibition, Farah Khan will reinterpret eight iconic European paintings from the NGV collection.
Into wearable fashion pieces, combining intricate beadwork with contemporary design. The project will be showcased alongside works by nearly 100 artists and collectives from 35 countries.
Organisers said the exhibition highlights transformation across art, design and culture, while Farah Khan’s participation underscores Malaysia’s growing presence on the international creative stage.
