KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 — Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has reiterated that Perikatan Nasional is a coalition founded through consensus and does not belong exclusively to any single party.
Responding to questions over PN’s future following PAS’ decision to end political cooperation with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, Samsuri said PAS is also a founding member of the coalition.
And that any decisions regarding PN’s status or direction must be made through its constitutional framework and official channels. He stressed that no party can unilaterally determine.
The coalition’s future, adding that his priority is to ensure PN remains united, principled and focused on serving the interests of the people and the country.
