GEORGE TOWN, June 12 — Motorists are advised to expect traffic disruptions along Lebuh Carnarvon from June 14 to 20 due to utility relocation works for the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project.
The 24-hour daily closure will affect the lane in front of the construction area, extending from the rightmost lane of Jalan Magazine near Kee Cheng Hardware Trading Sdn Bhd.
To The Magazine Hotel and towards Lebuh Carnarvon. Other lanes will remain open to maintain traffic flow. Authorities said the closure is required for preliminary works.
Under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package and urged road users to follow traffic signage and directions from on-site personnel.
