PUTRAJAYA, June 13 — Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia will require all new applications for tax exemption approval under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967.
To be submitted through the e-Derma system from June 15. LHDN said the move aims to improve efficiency, transparency and service delivery through digitalisation.
The platform allows applications and supporting documents to be submitted online without visiting LHDN offices. The system also supports extension requests.
Document submissions and information updates. Applications submitted through tax representatives will continue to be processed manually until a later phase of the e-Derma rollout.
