KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 — Hamzah Zainudin will resume his role as Opposition Leader, according to PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.
Speaking at the Reset convention in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, Hadi said the decision was made after consultations with PAS lawmakers and MPs aligned with Hamzah.
He also confirmed that Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar will remain chairman of Perikatan Nasional. Hamzah previously stepped down from the Opposition Leader post after being expelled from Bersatu.
Before Samsuri assumed the role. Earlier at the convention, Hamzah announced that the Reset movement would operate under the newly launched Parti Wawasan Negara.
