KOTA KINABALU, June 15 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has described women as a vital pillar of the Madani nation, saying their contributions are essential to the development of families, communities, the economy and the country.
Speaking in Sabah, Anwar also launched the National Integrity Enculturation Strategy (NIES), a nationwide effort to strengthen integrity, transparency and accountability across society.
He said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to building sustainable and ethical national development.
Anwar stressed that progress driven by technology, industry and artificial intelligence must be anchored in strong values and character.
While women remain central to shaping future generations and strengthening the nation’s social fabric.
