PETALING JAYA, June 15 — Rafizi Ramli said Parti Bersama Malaysia aims to field 70 per cent of its election candidates from those under the age of 50.
Including in the upcoming Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections. Rafizi also pledged to increase female representation.
Saying the party would seek capable women candidates from Malay, Chinese and Indian communities. He urged members not to dispute seat allocations.
Stressing that candidate selection would be based on suitability rather than race or gender. Rafizi added that Bersama, launched three weeks ago.
Has already attracted about 25,000 members and is targeting 50,000 in the near future.
