GEORGE TOWN, June 16 — SRS Consortium has clarified that a heavy vehicle incident reported on June 15 was not connected to the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project.
In a statement, the consortium said the vehicles involved did not belong to SRS, were not engaged by any of its subcontractors and were not transporting materials for the LRT project.
While expressing regret over the traffic disruption caused to motorists, SRS urged the public and media to avoid sharing unverified information linking the incident to ongoing LRT construction works.
The consortium also encouraged the public to rely on its official communication channels for accurate updates on the Penang Mutiara Line.
