KULAI, June 17 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Johor caretaker Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazimet today at the launch of the KTM Komuter Selatan service.
Days after a public exchange over political cooperation ahead of the Johor state election. The two leaders were seen greeting each other and holding a cordial conversation before the event.
Their meeting followed recent remarks by Onn Hafiz that he would not work with DAP in the Johor polls, prompting responses from Loke, who later invited him to attend the rail service launch.
Despite the political differences, both leaders maintained a professional tone at the event, which comes ahead of Johor’s state election on July 11.
