GEORGE TOWN, June 17 — The Penang CSC Dragon Boat Festival 2026 concluded successfully at Chinese Swimming Club Penang, attracting athletes, families and visitors for a day of racing.
And cultural celebrations in conjunction with the Duanwu Festival. Organised by the Chinese Swimming Club Penang and the Penang Dragon Boat Association.
The event featured dragon boat races and a stand-up paddling competition involving nine local teams. Dragon Ark B emerged as the champion in both the 12-crew and 22-crew categories.
Penang Tourism EXCO Wong Hon Wai said the event highlights the state’s commitment to sports tourism and community development.
While building momentum towards the Penang International Dragon Boat Regatta in November.
