KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 — Perikatan Nasional chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has announced a leadership reshuffle within the coalition ahead of the Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections.
Under the changes, Mohd Radzi Md Jidin has been replaced as Election Director by Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor. Sanusi will also step down as treasurer.
With Subramaniam Surunaryan taking over the role. Meanwhile, Mohamed Azmin Alihas been relieved of his duties as Deputy Secretary-General to comply with the coalition’s constitution.
Samsuri said an emergency Supreme Council meeting will be held soon to further strengthen PN’s organisational structure.
