KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) says it maintains good relations with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia(Bersatu) in Johor, although no electoral pact has been finalised.
Muda president Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz said the party is engaging opposition groups but has only confirmed cooperation with Parti Sosialis Malaysia under the “progressive bloc”.
She added that Muda has finalised its candidate list and seat allocations for the Johor election, with women making up about half of its candidates. Polling is scheduled for July 11.
