JOHOR BAHRU, June 19 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) will announce its candidates for the Johor state election on June 22, according to Johor PKR chairman Dr Zaliha Mustafa.
The announcement is expected to be made by PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim at an event in northern Johor, likely in Bukit Gambir, Tangkak.
Dr Zaliha said candidate selection involved feedback from party branches and focused on individuals with strong service records.
While ensuring representation from professionals, youth, women and diverse communities. PH will contest all 56 state seats, with PKR contesting 20, DAP 17 and Amanah 19.
Polling is scheduled for July 11.
