KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has proposed to PKR leadership that he be given the opportunity to contest a seat in Selangor in the next general election.
Tengku Zafrul said no final decision has been made and that he has no preferred constituency. He noted that he has been active in Pandan and Ampang as PKR’s monitoring officer.
His remarks come following the vacancy in the Pandan parliamentary seat after Rafizi Ramli left the party. He said the decision ultimately rests with party leadership.
