KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 — Grand Hyatt Singapore has launched Stories of Orchard, a curated walking tour developed with urban heritage specialist Yong Min Ho to mark the hotel’s 55th anniversary.
The tour traces the transformation of Orchard Road from 19th-century nutmeg plantations to one of Asia’s most recognised lifestyle districts.
Beginning at Grand Hyatt Singapore, participants explore the hotel’s history before visiting landmarks including ION Orchard, Somerset and Emerald Hill.
Organisers said the experience offers a deeper understanding of Singapore’s urban development, heritage and cultural identity.
Guests also receive a commemorative NETS FlashPay card featuring exclusive artwork inspired by the hotel and Orchard Road.
