JOHOR BAHRU, June 22 — The Johor government has launched the Johor Economic Transformation Plan (JETP), identifying 83 investment projects worth RM167.4 billion.

Across eight priority sectors to drive future growth. State investment committee chairman Lee Ting Han said the plan focuses on healthcare, logistics, aerospace, tourism, agriculture, energy, electrical and electronics, and chemicals.

JETP includes 32 strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating investment, strengthening industry development and creating quality jobs.

The state targets a GDP of RM260 billion and more than 200,000 new jobs by 2030. The plan is also expected to raise Johor’s GDP per capita above RM69,000.

And support the growth of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.
