GEORGE TOWN, June 22 — The Penang government has approved RM129,900 under its Youth Development Fund to support 68 programmes organised by 48 youth associations across the state this year.
State Youth, Sports and Health Committee chairman Daniel Gooi Zi Sen said the funding will support initiatives focused on skills development, employability, volunteerism and leadership.
He described the allocation as an investment in youth-driven ideas and community impact rather than simple financial assistance.
Gooi also urged recipient organisations to implement their programmes with integrity, transparency and effective management to ensure meaningful long-term benefits for participants and society.
