GEORGE TOWN, June 22 — Students from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) conducted the second phase of the COMM@ Love in Transit 2026 programme.
Providing health and wellbeing support to residents of the Penang Transit Hope Centre. The initiative featured free basic health screenings.
Health consultations and a mental wellness workshop focused on mindfulness and creative expression. Organised by students from USM’s School of Communication Studies.
The programme aimed to promote preventive healthcare, emotional wellbeing and social support among vulnerable communities.
The activities were conducted with support from healthcare professionals and community partners as part of efforts to build healthier and more resilient communities.
