KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 — Digital Realty has officially launched its Malaysia operations, marking a significant expansion of its Asia-Pacific footprint.
The company plans to develop approximately 32MW of data centre capacity in Cyberjaya through three interconnected facilities.
Integrating Malaysia into its global network of more than 300 data centres across 30 countries. The inauguration was officiated by Gobind Singh Deo.
Who said the investment strengthens Malaysia’s ambitions to become a regional digital infrastructure and AI hub.
The Cyberjaya campus will support cloud, AI and data-intensive workloads, while providing connectivity to key regional markets including Singapore and Jakarta.
Digital Realty said the expansion will enhance Malaysia’s role in cross-border data flows, digital innovation and sustainable data centre development.
