Without being accused of undermining UMNO from within. In a Facebook post, Puad claimed his decision was motivated by concerns over Johor UMNO’s independence.
Alleging the state leadership was no longer making decisions autonomously. He also claimed caretaker Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi had informed him that the dissolution of the Johor State Assembly followed instructions from the palace.
