KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 — Cats remain one of the most powerful drivers of engagement in today’s digital landscape, according to Cindy Poh Huay Yuet.

She argues that feline content continues to outperform many traditional marketing efforts due to its authenticity, unpredictability and universal appeal.

Poh pointed to the popularity of a resident cat at LRT Wangsa Maju, which generated widespread social media engagement and increased visitor interest.

She said cats offer brands three key advantages: efficiency, visibility and credibility. Unlike influencers, cats are perceived as authentic and unscripted.

In an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, she believes this authenticity makes cats uniquely effective in capturing and sustaining public attention.
