GEORGE TOWN, June 26 — Motorists are advised to expect temporary traffic diversions following a partial night lane closure at Gat Lebuh Macallum from June 24 to June 30.
The closure, from 10pm to 5am daily, will affect the slip road leading towards KOMTAR to facilitate road premix works for the Penang LRT Mutiara Line (CMC1 Package).
Other traffic lanes will remain open throughout the works. Project emergency response teams, traffic marshals and safety barriers will be deployed to manage traffic.
With road users urged to follow directional signage during the six-day construction period.
