GEORGE TOWN, June 26 — Motorists travelling along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah should expect periodic partial lane closures from June 27 to August 31.
As preliminary works for the Penang LRT Mutiara Line (CMC1 Package) continue. The nightly closures, from 10pm to 5am, will affect the leftmost lane between Kem Tentera Batu Uban and the Sunny Point junction.
In both directions towards Komtar and Bayan Lepas. Remaining lanes will remain open throughout the works. Traffic personnel, safety barriers, cones and flagmen will be deployed on-site.
With road users advised to follow directional signage and plan their journeys accordingly.
