KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 — Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad is celebrating its 20th anniversary after investing RM46.88 billion to modernise Malaysia’s water services industry and strengthen national water security.
The milestone was officiated by Fadillah Yusof. Since 2006, PAAB has financed RM23.04 billion in state water asset acquisitions and RM23.84 billion in infrastructure development.
By the end of 2025, the company had completed 21 water treatment plants, 42 storage tanks and over 3,263 kilometres of upgraded pipelines.
PAAB said it remains committed to supporting sustainable water services and achieving full cost recovery by 2050.
