BAYAN BARU, June 28 — Pantai Hospital Penang welcomed 3,192 participants to the third edition of the Pantai Half Marathon 2026, combining community fitness with charitable giving.
The annual event featured 21km, 10km and 5km categories and raised funds to support the Lions Club of George Town Mutiara Medical Fund.
During the event, the hospital presented a RM5,000 mock cheque to assist underprivileged patients in accessing essential healthcare.
Participants also enjoyed health screenings, wellness activities, sponsor exhibitions and lucky draws, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and healthier communities beyond clinical services.
