JOHOR BAHRU, June 28 — Pakatan Harapan will unveil a “realistic, practical and easy-to-understand” manifesto for the Johor state election after its leadership gives final approval on Monday.
According to secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, the manifesto will focus on economic stability, public welfare, good governance, political stability and fair distribution of state revenue.
Saifuddin said PH wants to move away from lengthy manifestos and instead present commitments that voters can easily understand and relate to.
Meanwhile, PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim urged candidates to engage sincerely with voters, work hard throughout the campaign and prove that civil.
Performance-based politics can prevail over divisive rhetoric. He also confirmed that PH will announce its Johor Menteri Besar candidate at the appropriate time.
