PONTIAN, June 28 — Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has pledged that a Barisan Nasional-led Johor government will remain fully aligned with the federal Unity Government if given a fresh mandate in the state election.
The BN chairman said strong political stability would enable better cooperation between Johor and Putrajaya, while dismissing claims of any electoral understanding with PAS or Parti Wawasan Negara.
Zahid stressed that BN is contesting all 56 seats independently under its own logo and urged voters to reject divisive political narratives.
He also called for a mature campaign focused on stability, development and the welfare of Johoreans throughout the 14-day election period.
