KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 — Deputy Transport Minister Hasbi Habibollah said Phase Two of the Shah Alam LRT3 project remains part of the government’s long-term plan.
With five additional stations and seven new train sets planned to support future demand. The new stations are Tropicana, Raja Muda, Temasya, Bukit Raja and Bandar Botanik.
Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook said construction is expected to begin later this year, alongside transit-oriented developments near selected stations.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced free rides on LRT3 and its feeder buses until July 31 to encourage greater public transport usage.
