GEORGE TOWN, June 30 — Long-term intermittent night lane closures will be implemented along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah from July 1 to September 30.
To facilitate preliminary works for the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project. The closures, from 10pm to 5am daily, will affect selected lanes between Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal and JPJ Batu Uban.
Including sections near Lorong Sungai Dua. The works involve tree cutting and transplanting under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package. Motorists are advised to follow traffic signage.
While emergency response teams, traffic marshals and safety barriers will be deployed to minimise disruptions.
