IPOH, July 1 — PERKESO has officially opened the Sultan Nazrin Shah PERKESO Rehabilitation Center, a new neuro-robotic and cybernics rehabilitation facility in Perak.
The centre, inaugurated by Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, can accommodate up to 700 patients and features advanced rehabilitation technologies from Fourier Rehab.
Including Southeast Asia’s first MetaMotus Galileo system and humanoid rehabilitation robots. The facility is expected to serve as a centre of excellence for rehabilitation.
And return-to-work programmes, while supporting future research in robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and brain-computer interface technologies.
