SHAH ALAM, July 2 — His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, welcomed the completion of the Shah Alam LRT3.
Describing it as a project that will improve mobility and quality of life for Selangor residents. The Sultan credited former Prime Minister Najib Razak for approving the project following his proposal in 2015.
He also said the project was delayed after 2018, with five planned stations initially cancelled. The Sultan thanked Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for restoring the cancelled stations and reviving the project.
And supporting affordable housing developments along the LRT3 corridor. He expressed hope the line would ease congestion and boost economic growth across the Klang Valley.
