KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Anthony Loke Siew Fook said the Madani Government will seek an audience with His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.
To clarify issues surrounding the implementation of the Shah Alam LRT3 project. Loke said the government respected the Sultan’s views and intended to explain.
That the project underwent cost rationalisation rather than cancellation. He added that former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and former MP Tony Puahad also issued statements explaining the cost-saving measures.
Separately, Loke announced additional Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad ETS services between Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to facilitate voters travelling home for the Johor state election on July 11.
