KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — Anwar Ibrahim announced the establishment of the National Education Council to lead comprehensive reforms across Malaysia’s education system.
The council will review curriculum, strengthen English as a second language, develop STEM talent and enhance education quality while preserving the national language, values and culture.
It will also focus on improving district-level education and advancing the Bumiputera education agenda. Anwar said Malaysia must embrace continuous reforms.
To ensure the education system remains relevant and prepares future generations for evolving national and global needs.
