KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 — Anwar Ibrahim has announced an additional RM10 million for the Vehicle Replacement Matching Grant Programme under the National Madani Taxi Reform Programme.
The initiative introduces the Proton S70 as the official taxi, supported by a dedicated financing scheme developed with Proton and the Transport Ministry.
Eligible drivers can purchase the vehicle from about RM64,500, receive up to RM4,000 in trade-in assistance, and benefit from improved ownership opportunities.
