JOHOR BAHRU, July 5 — Anwar Ibrahim urged Johoreans to judge leaders by their actions rather than political slogans, saying genuine support for Malays and Bumiputera should be reflected through policies instead of rhetoric.
Speaking during several Johor election programmes, Anwar cited the gazettement of 20.23 hectares of Malay Reserve land at Bandar Malaysia and the RM140 billion Bandar Malaysia project as examples of his government’s commitment.
He also highlighted federal initiatives such as the RTS Link and Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, while encouraging voters to choose leaders focused on development, integrity and the welfare of all communities.
