KUALA LANGAT, July 7 — A 15-year-old student accused of stabbing a schoolmate at a secondary school in Banting has been remanded for four days until July 10 to assist investigations.
The remand order was issued by Maslinda Selamat at the Telok Datok Magistrate’s Court. The suspect’s legal aid lawyer, S. Vijeswari Devi, said her client is autistic and a person with disabilities (OKU).
Police are investigating the case under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder. The victim, a Form Three student, remains in stable condition after sustaining at least 14 stab wounds.
Including an injury that punctured a lung. Investigations are ongoing.
