BAYAN LEPAS, July 7 — Global Electronics Association has strengthened its regional presence in Penang, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a key hub for electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.
In Southeast Asia. Operating from the National Technology and Innovation Centre since January, the association has conducted more than 200 technical training programmes nationwide.
And is supporting initiatives in advanced packaging, standards development and workforce capability building. The organisation is also collaborating with MIMOS Berhad.
And industry stakeholders to advance Malaysia’s semiconductor ecosystem, while preparing for the Integrated Electronics Manufacturing & Interconnections (IEMI) Malaysia 2027 platform.
