GEORGE TOWN, July 7 — Motorists are advised of intermittent partial daytime lane closures along Jalan Tengahfrom July 7 to September 30, between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
To facilitate works for the Penang LRT Mutiara Line (CMC1 Package). The closures will affect the leftmost lane in phases between the Caltex Bayan Baru slip road and SK Raja Tun Uda.
As well as from Pantai Hospital Penang to the Giant Bayan Baru inner road. Tree removal, drainage relocation and road widening works will be carried out, while all remaining lanes will stay open to traffic.
