GEORGE TOWN, July 7 — Wong Hon Wai has inspected the progress of the Paya Terubong Paired Road project at Jalan Bukit Kukus.

He said the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) requires the developer to complete its section of the paired road before issuing the apartment project’s Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).

The developer expects to complete the residential project in about three years, with the road to be finished simultaneously as it serves as the construction access route.

Wong added that another section of the paired road, to be built by a different developer, has yet to show physical progress, while authorities have requested a construction timetable.
