KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 — Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has begun the legal process to acquire privately owned land at Jalan Taman Datuk Senu, Sentul.
Following the closure of a public access road. Kuala Lumpur Mayor Fadlun Mak Ujud said the matter could be resolved within three to four months, subject to the land acquisition process.
Separately, DBKL announced a RM45 million upgrade of its Jalan Kuari crematorium in Cheras. Scheduled for completion by 2029.
The project will increase cremation units from seven to ten, raising daily capacity from 18 to 27 cremations, while improving facilities for the non-Muslim community.
