GEORGE TOWN, July 9 — Digital Penang has concluded the AI Hackathon for Public Sector 2026, showcasing AI-powered solutions developed by 14 participating teams to improve government service delivery.
The closing ceremony also saw the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding with Ashisuto Global Technologies to strengthen collaboration in artificial intelligence, digital talent development and public sector innovation.
Supported by Amazon Web Services, the programme forms part of Penang’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation and build AI capabilities across the public sector.
